Equipment
Every swimmer should come to practice with goggles, a cap (if necessary) a kickboard, fins, and a water bottle. (Snorkels for Silver Plus and Gold).
We have all recommendations by group on our Swim Outlet Team Store: https://www.swimoutlet.com/collections/pfpf
Team suits are encouraged for meet swimmers, but not required at this time.
Full disclosure, we get a 1% store credit if you select "give back" at checkout.
Typically, the prices for swim gear are better on Swim Outlet, but if you prefer to shop on Amazon, here are some examples for gear on that site:
Kickboards:
Most every kickboard is fine for these young swimmers. Please see examples below:

Fins
Swim fins will be a large part of the process for the Pflamingos. Young swimmers will develop a feel for the water using rubber, long fins. Once in the Gold Group, silicone short fins will be required to develop strength and speed. Below are examples, but the takeaway is that any long flexible fins are good for younger swimmers, and the shorter ones are better (and more challenging) for older swimmers.

Training Snorkel for Silver Plus / Gold:
Silver and Gold Group Swimmers will be using snorkels to develop body position technique and strength, with the Gold group eventually using them more for training purposes. These will be used heavily in the first half of the season. Please have Silver swimmers equipped with snorkels by Sept. 16, the start of the third week of practice.
